Gislaveds IS won an exciting match against IS Halmia on Saturday afternoon at Ryttarvallen 1 in Gislaveds in Division 2 Västra Götaland for men. The attendance was an impressive 1650, and the referees were Levente Szasz with assistants Besim Boletini and Johannes Gunnarsson.

The match started strongly for both teams, but after 17 minutes, Anton Henningsson from Gislaveds IS received a warning after a tough tackle. Only twelve minutes later, Calle Genberg from IS Halmia took the lead with a score of 0-1. However, Gislaveds IS responded quickly, and three minutes later, James Bass scored a penalty kick to put the home team ahead, making it an even match.

After halftime, the teams continued to battle hard, and several substitutions were made on both sides. In the 84th minute, Sebastian Göransson scored a spectacular goal for Gislaveds IS, giving them a 2-1 lead. Despite hard play from both teams, Gislaveds IS managed to maintain their lead and win the match.

The match was filled with cards, and Gislaveds IS received three warnings towards the end of the game, including two for Sebastian Göransson. IS Halmia's Jonas Käck received a warning after 32 minutes, and Igor Krulj received a warning which led to the substitution of Abubakar Yahya Eriksson.
