On a warm Saturday afternoon at Åbyvallen 1 Artificial Turf, there was an incredible display as Fässbergs IF hosted the bottom team Götene IF in Division 2 Västra Götaland. Just four minutes in, Robert Carlsson scored the opening goal, making it 1-0 after a nice pass from Tobias Nordström.

Fässbergs IF continued to dominate, and Nordström himself extended the lead to 2-0 just six minutes later. Carlsson was involved again, netting his second goal of the day to make it 3-0 in the 20th minute. Jashar Gorani and Ludvig Brisby Jeppsson then increased the lead to 5-0 before halftime.

In the second half, Fässbergs IF continued their dominance, with Gorani scoring his second goal in the 62nd minute. Götene IF tried in vain to get back into the match, but the defense held strong. Magnus Lundstedt then sealed the deal with a goal making it 7-0 in the 70th minute.

The young referee Henrik Hall maintained good control of the match and issued a warning to Oscars Hansson from Götene IF. Despite making a substitution at halftime, Götene IF was unable to turn the match in their favor, and Fässbergs IF cruised to a convincing victory.

After the match, Fässbergs IF remains in 2nd place in the standings, while Götene IF continues to sit at the bottom. With an impressive performance, Fässbergs IF showed that they are a strong team to reckon with in Division 2.
