Sävedalens IF welcomed league leaders Assyriska BK to Vallhamra 1 Grass in front of an audience of 280 on a sunny Wednesday evening. Referee Sara Persson blew the whistle to start the match, and it didn’t take long for the home team to take the lead. In the 14th minute, Victor Axmalm found the net, making it 1-0 to Sävedalens IF.

Assyriska BK had a tough start to the match, and already in the 27th minute, Yohannes Asmar received a red card and had to leave the pitch. It didn’t take long for Sävedalens to take advantage of their numerical superiority, and Rodrigo Galeano Zarza extended the lead to 2-0.

In the second half, Sävedalens continued to dominate, and Besart Rushiti made it 3-0 in the 50th minute. Assyriska BK tried to make a comeback, and Amaro Nyass managed to reduce the score to 3-1 in the 58th minute. However, Sävedalens kept pressing, and in the 90th minute, Besart Rushiti scored his second goal of the night, sealing the final score at 4-1.

Assyriska BK had several players sent off in the second half and struggled to get back into the match. Sävedalens IF played with great confidence and secured three points against the league leaders. After the match, the home team's fans celebrated the victory, while Assyriska BK will take away lessons for upcoming matches.
