It was an exciting match between GIF Nike and Helsingborgs IF Academy at Lomma IP's A pitch. Despite there being no spectators present, the teams delivered an entertaining match for all who followed it.
GIF Nike started the match strongest and took the lead in the 15th minute through Victor Dahlqvist. However, Helsingborgs IF Academy did not give up and equalized with a goal from Yonathan Getachew in the 34th minute.
Before halftime, Kim Jeppsson managed to give GIF Nike the lead once again with his goal in the 40th minute. The score held until the break.
In the second half, Helsingborgs IF Academy took over the match. Erik Kronholm equalized in the 54th minute before Yonathan Getachew converted a penalty to give his team the lead in the 65th minute. Jesper Lundborg then extended the lead to 2-4 in the 80th minute.
GIF Nike fought on, and André Strandberg reduced the deficit to 3-4 in the 88th minute, but it was not enough to make a comeback.
Despite a strong finish from GIF Nike, it was Helsingborgs IF Academy that managed to maintain the lead and take home three points from the match. The final score was therefore 3-4 in favor of Helsingborgs IF Academy.
