The match started evenly with both teams creating chances going forward, but it was Laholms FK who took the lead when Jonatan Eriksson made it 0-1 after seven minutes of play. Sävedalen IF responded quickly and equalized at 1-1 through Peter Bangur in the 16th minute.
Laholms FK again took the lead with 1-2 after an own goal by Sävedalens IF in the 21st minute. A similar mistake led to Sävedalen IF increasing their lead to 1-3 with another own goal just four minutes later.
Sävedalen IF did not give up and reduced to 2-3 through Jonatan Viker on a penalty in the 27th minute. Laholms FK received several warnings and Jesper Wennström was even sent off in the 82nd minute. Victor Johansson also received a warning in the 86th minute.
With only four minutes left in regular time, Rasmus Tengfjord equalized for Sävedalens IF and the match ended 3-3. A dramatic match that ended in a draw and where Sävedalens IF managed to pick up the deficit and secure a point.
