Sävedalens IF secured a convincing victory at home on Vallhamra 1 Grass last Sunday. In front of a crowd of 180 spectators, the home team won 4-0 against Lindome GIF in Division 2 Västra Götaland for men.

The goalscorers were not only the players on the field, as Sävedalen's first two goals came from own goals by Lindome. Just four minutes into the match, the away team found themselves in an early deficit. An unfortunate clearance from Lindome allowed SIF to take the lead.

After a relatively even first half, Sävedalen managed to extend their lead once again before halftime. Once again, it was Lindome that increased the home team's advantage, this time with a second own goal.

In the second half, Sävedalen showed why they are in second place in the standings. The young forward Gustav Ludwigson continued to impress and scored his ninth goal of the season in the 63rd minute. After that goal, there was little hope left for Lindome.

In the remaining minutes, the away team created no real dangerous chances, and it was SIF that continued to dominate. In the 77th minute, Anton Nilsson scored his first goal of the season, sealing a comfortable victory for Sävedalen.

It was a relatively physical match, and several players received warnings. Joakim Hall from Lindome received a yellow card in the 43rd minute, while Adam Stefanson from Sävedalen was cautioned in the 59th minute. Derrick Ddungu from the home team also received a yellow card, while Lindome's players avoided warnings this time.

Sävedalens IF continues to impress and remains in second place in the standings, with 27 points from 12 matches. Lindome GIF, on the other hand, seems to be struggling and stays in fourth place in the standings with 21 points from 13 matches.
