In front of an empty arena at Laröds IP A-plan, Hittarps IK faced Vinbergs IF in a Division 2 Västra Götaland match on Saturday afternoon.
Just six minutes into the match, Hittarps took the lead through Mattias Hallberg, and only four minutes later, Bertil André Kopfinger put the home team in a favorable 2-0 position.
Vinberg attempted to shake off the deficit by making two substitutions, bringing in Robin Östman and Johan Sjögerén in place of Henrik Rosvall and Marcus Torbjörnsson. This change seemed to pay off as Arben Ajdarevic managed to reduce the score to 2-1 in the 64th minute.
Hittarps responded with two substitutions of their own, taking out Bertil André Kopfinger for Niklas Nielsen and Jonathan Olsson for Rasmus Fristedt, but for the remainder of the match, it was Vinberg who pressed more. Despite that, the visitors were unable to score any more goals, and as the match clock approached its end, Hittarps sealed the deal.
In the third minute of stoppage time, Omar Hamid scored to make it 3-1 for the home team, which gave Anton Ridell the chance to come onto the field in place of Hamid. Vinberg also made a last-minute substitution, with Elias Gustavsson coming in for Jesper Pettersson, but the final score remained 3-1 in favor of Hittarps IK.
