Match in Division 2 Västra Götaland, men 2017
Match start: 2017-09-02 at 14:00
Venue: Kabevallen 1, Tenhult

IS Halmia delivered a complete display in their away match against Tenhults IF. While the home team fought for their survival in Division 2 Västra Götaland, IS Halmia showed class and dominance from the very first minute of the match. Just 11 minutes in, Ronny Sabo put the ball in the net to give the visitors the lead.

Tenhults IF tried to regroup, but time and again it was IS Halmia who were sharper. Sabo continued to score, and after just 25 minutes, he had already completed a hat trick. Adrian Hallsö also scored a beautiful goal, and when the referee blew for halftime, IS Halmia led by four goals to none.

Tenhults IF attempted a tactical change, but nothing seemed to help against a much stronger and more confident IS Halmia. Marcus Jönsson scored the visitors' fifth goal five minutes into the second half, but Tenhults IF also managed to score their first goal through Leaford Anthony Allen.

However, it was just a temporary relief, as IS Halmia responded immediately with both a penalty goal from Isak Petersson and a goal from Vuk Lugonjic, making it the seventh time the away team found the back of the net. Tenhults IF also managed to score from a penalty, but it was nowhere near enough to save them from a heavy defeat.

IS Halmia continued their fine form and defeated Tenhults IF 7-2 on their home ground. It was a victory that moved the visitors up to seventh place in the table, while the home team remained firmly at the bottom.
