Assyriska BK achieved a convincing victory at Påskbergsvallen when they faced Varbergs GIF FK in Division 2 Västra Götaland on Saturday afternoon. In a match with zero spectators, it was clear that Assyriska was the better team. The match started with an early goal for the visitors, as Daniel Albano Neves found the net already in the sixth minute. However, Varbergs GIF FK quickly regrouped and tried to turn the match around. Instead, Anton Henningsson from Assyriska earned a yellow card for a tough duel.

The second goal for Assyriska BK was scored by Mattias Kano in the 23rd minute, and just six minutes later, he was able to score another goal. The home team was now under significant pressure, but after a nice long ball from Labinot Syla, Kameraj managed to score Varberg’s only goal of the match. As the first half came to a close, it seemed that the match had swung in Varberg's direction – but just seconds before the break, Ramsin Khoshaba Youkhanna from Assyriska BK managed to increase the lead.

The second half started with a worrying situation when Varberg's Arbios Mzi, who had already received a yellow card, got a second and was sent off. The home team was consequently pushed back even further, and their chances of turning the match around dwindled drastically. Sheriffdeen Abiodun Sulaimoh from Assyriska BK received a yellow card, but that would not bring any comfort to Varberg. Assyriska BK was able to make another substitution, bringing in Ishak Shamoun. Ali Selim also got the chance to showcase his skills when he was substituted in for Sulaimoh. However, neither team was able to score any more goals.

Assyriska BK made it clear that they were the better team and secured a well-deserved victory at Påskbergsvallen. With goals from Daniel Albano Neves, Mattias Kano, and Ramsin Khoshaba Youkhanna, along with a consolation goal from Varberg's Kreshnik Kameraj, the match finished 4-1. Referee Adnan Busuladzic and his assistants Johan Söderström and Semir Rujovic had a relatively easy match to officiate with very few controversies.
