Vinbergs IF secured an important victory when they defeated Eslövs BK 3-1 at Ekevalla IP in Division 2 Västra Götaland, men's. It was a close match where Vinbergs IF took the lead with a nice ball from Besart Zeqiri to the scorer in the 35th minute.

Eslövs BK took charge of the match more in the second half and equalized from a penalty by Martynas Poderis in the 60th minute. This gave the home crowd hope for a turnaround. Unfortunately for them, Besart Zeqiri capitalized on a misplaced pass from Eslöv's defense in the 78th minute and made it 2-1 for Vinbergs IF. Simon Andersson then sealed the game for Vinberg with a goal in the 84th minute, to the great disappointment of the home crowd.
