On Sunday afternoon, BK Astrio and Eskilsminne IF met at Söndrums IP artificial grass. With 250 people in the stands, there were high expectations for the match in Division 2 Västra Götaland. The referee Pontus Karlsson officiated with assistant referees Hugo Evebring and Pontus Johansson.

Eskilsminne IF was the stronger team on the day, and just 16 minutes in, Akram Mansour managed to put the ball in the net, giving the away team the lead. Mansour continued to impress and scored the team's second goal after 22 minutes. BK Astrio struggled to find their rhythm, and after 30 minutes of play, Hampus Stoltz scored a beautiful header, putting Eskilsminne IF ahead 3-0.

Sten Preuss from BK Astrio received a yellow card following a tough tackle, and before the half was over, Mansour completed his hat trick with his third goal of the day. However, BK Astrio managed to pull one back through Remo Gotfredsen Grgic, which gave the team a little joy.

At halftime, Eskilsminne IF made a substitution, bringing Andreas Quist Svensson on for Mansour. BK Astrio tried to get back into the game and substituted Eric Svensson for Viktor Håkansson, but just minutes later, Yonathan Getachew of Eskilsminne IF received a yellow card for a rough tackle. However, William Nilsson managed to score another goal for the away team, extending the lead to 5-1.

BK Astrio continued to make substitutions, with Charlie Dagård and Niclas Taube coming in as fresh legs. Eskilsminne IF replaced Josef Getachew with Filip Larsson, and BK Astrio swapped Remo Gotfredsen Grgic for Mattias Saleem Almgren. As the match neared its conclusion, Nils Strandahl scored for the home team, but it wasn't enough to turn the game around. Instead, Eskilsminne IF brought on Noor Jassem for Hampus Stoltz and Johan Albin for Fredrik Liverstam. The match ended 2-5, with Eskilsminne IF continuing to lead the table while BK Astrio found themselves in fourth place.
