BK Astrio won an exciting and tough match at home against Hittarps IK with a score of 2-1 in Division 2 Västra Götaland men's football this Saturday afternoon at Söndrums IP A, in front of 121 spectators.
The match was thrilling from start to finish, and it was the visiting team Hittarps IK that took the lead in the 17th minute through Cim Nilsson, who struck a nice shot past BK Astrio’s goalkeeper. The guests continued to create several dangerous chances, but BK Astrio held firm and crafted their own opportunities in the opponent's half.
In the 87th minute, it was finally time for BK Astrio to find the back of the net. Sten Preuss made a fantastic assist and shot the ball into the net, giving BK Astrio their first goal. The guests desperately tried to equalize, but in stoppage time, BK Astrio managed to seal the match with a goal from Lucas Lindau.
