The match between Hittarps IK and Torslanda IK at Laröds IP A-plan provided an exciting and eventful affair. Although there were no spectators present on the Sunday afternoon, the action on the field was intense.
Already in the 34th minute, Torslanda faced a red card when Dominic Wooldridge was sent off. Hittarps had the opportunity to take the lead from the penalty spot, but Oliver Åkerman's attempt was saved by the opposing goalkeeper.
In the 45th minute, however, Hittarps took the lead through Max Anderberg, and just five minutes into the second half, Oliver Åkerman doubled the lead to 2-0. Torslanda fought hard despite being a man down, and Allan Andersson managed to reduce the score to 3-1 in the 84th minute, followed by Gustav Forssell making it 3-2 in the 87th minute.
But Hittarps did not give up, and in the 90th minute, Oliver Åkerman confirmed the final score as 4-2. Despite the loss, Torslanda showed strength and fighting spirit, even while having to play with one less player for large parts of the match.
After the match, Hittarps IK sits in fifth place on the table, while Torslanda IK is in eleventh place. A crucial victory for Hittarps as they continue their pursuit of an even higher position in Division 2 Västra Götaland.
