BK Astrio achieved a convincing victory over Landvetter IS at Söndrums IP A on Saturday afternoon. Astrio went on the offensive right away and took the lead after just 23 minutes through Emil Håkansson. Shortly thereafter, Håkansson increased his tally by scoring the second goal.

Philip Comnell then added another goal for Astrio in the 36th minute, which seemed to indicate that the match was decided in Astrio's favor. However, just before halftime, both Alexander Hall Ling and David Struski Persson received yellow cards for Astrio.

Landvetter IS then started to work their way back into the match and reduced the deficit through William Andersson in the 49th minute. Andersson subsequently scored again in the 62nd minute, converting a penalty to make it 3-2.

Filip Landegren's yellow card for Landvetter IS seemed to dampen their chances of equalizing, and Astrio was able to substitute Jacob Borgstrand for Samuel Svensson and Philip Comnell for Lucas Lindau with only 11 minutes left. Landvetter IS then substituted Albin Gustavsson and Dante Scolieri for Elias Asserlind and Christoffer Floman Randsalu.

Landvetter IS had several chances to equalize, but Astrio's defense held firm, and Niclas Taube replaced Sten Preuss with just minutes remaining. The play became quite chaotic towards the end, but Astrio maintained their lead and won the match 3-2, leading to joy among the home crowd at Söndrums IP A.
