At Lindevi IP 1, Lindome GIF and IK Tord faced off today in an exciting match in Division 2 Västra Götaland for men. With 108 spectators in the stands and Stefan Fredriksson as the main referee, the match kicked off at 1:00 PM on Saturday afternoon.

On paper, it was a matchup between two teams with different standings in the league. The home team, Lindome GIF, was in seventh place while IK Tord was in third place.

The match started, and just six minutes in, Robert Lipovac put Lindome GIF up 1-0. However, IK Tord quickly responded, and after 24 minutes, Linus Lyck equalized to 1-1. Lindome GIF continued to apply pressure, and in the 38th minute, Ahmed Hussain scored to make it 2-1. Just after halftime, Emre Balci extended the lead to 3-1.

IK Tord, however, did not give up, and in the 56th minute, Arvid Falk Lindgren headed in a goal to reduce the deficit to 3-2. Ten minutes later, IK Tord made substitutions, bringing in Isac Lyck and Emil Johnsson for Erik Watson and Alexander Jacobsson. Shortly thereafter, Kalle Ekman was replaced by Mubarik Mohamed.

Lindome GIF also made substitutions in the second half, with Hugo Hedén and Yosef Rauf coming on for Emre Balci and David Ngoma. In the 77th minute, Oskar Sigurdsson was substituted for Andreas Karlsson for IK Tord.

With only five minutes left in regular time, IK Tord had a chance to equalize with a penalty – but Linus Lyck missed, and the save was made by Lindome GIF's goalkeeper. However, Lyck did not give up, and in the 85th minute, he scored to make it 3-3.

Lindome GIF also refused to back down, and in the 88th minute, Ahmed Hussain had the opportunity to score his second goal of the match and succeeded in putting the home team ahead 4-3. Thus, the match ended in victory for Lindome GIF.
