Eda IF and Rynninge IK met on Saturday afternoon in Gillevi in front of an audience of 100 people in Division 2 Västra Svealand women's football series. The match started intensely, and just five minutes in, Rynninge IK scored the goal that would prove to be decisive. Selma Lundekvam received the ball in midfield and elegantly struck it straight into the net, giving Rynninge IK a 1-0 lead.
After the goal, Rynninge IK gained more confidence and created more chances. Eda IF fought to come back and desperately tried to find an equalizer towards the end of the match. However, Rynninge IK held firm and did not concede any goals.
