At Ringvallen 2, Västerås BK 30 2 and QBIK met in an important match in Division 2 Västra Svealand for ladies. In front of a crowd of zero, referee Amjad Bashour blew the match off on Saturday afternoon.
The situation before the match was critical for both teams, especially for QBIK who were last in the table. But it was the visitors who took the lead in the 20th minute when Melinda Rehnström found the net to make it 0-1 to QBIK. However, Västerås BK 30 2 did not want to give up and Emelie Carlsson equalized to 1-1 in the 31st minute.
But QBIK continued to show that they were in the mood to play and in the 35th minute Elsa Matthed scored 1-2 for the away team. The goals continued to trickle in and Västerås BK 30 2 equalized again through Sofia Malmport in the 38th minute.
Just before the half-time break, Isola Hansson in the home team would get an important goal and send in 3-2 to Västerås BK 30 2 in the 45th minute. But it didn't end there, Freja Andersson scored another goal in overtime and sent in 4-2 to the home team. Tessa Lundén also wanted to get points for Västerås and made it 5-2 in the 45th minute.
During the match, both Västerås and QBIK had a few warnings, but the match ended without any more goals and Västerås BK 30 2 took an important victory at home. QBIK must continue to struggle at the bottom of the table.
