Bollstavallen was packed with devoted soccer enthusiasts who had gathered to watch the match between Bollsta IK and Arnäs/Själevad 2 in Division 3 Ångermanland for women. Referee Eugeniu Samson blew the whistle to start the match right at 7:00 PM on Thursday evening, and it was Arnäs/Själevad 2 who set the tone by winning the ball immediately.
After 21 minutes into the match, Arnäs/Själevad 2 took the lead with a free-kick goal from Felicia Hamberg, which silenced the home crowd. Just a few minutes later, Arnäs/Själevad 2 managed to extend their lead with a fine goal from Lova Larsson. Bollsta IK tried to find their way back into the match but struggled to get past Arnäs/Själevad 2's defensive line.
As the evening progressed, Bollsta IK pushed hard and in the 35th minute, they were rewarded when Thyra Altin Sköldqvist scored a goal, reducing the score to 1-2. It was an important strike for the home team, but they failed to build on that energy.
In the second half, Arnäs/Själevad 2 maintained control and soon struck their third goal with another free-kick from Felicia Hamberg in the 53rd minute. In the 64th minute, Wilma Åkerdahl increased the lead to 1-4 with a beautiful goal.
Bollsta IK received a warning in the 69th minute after a fierce tackle from Eloise Ågren. Shortly thereafter, Arnäs/Själevad 2 was awarded a penalty following a foul in Bollsta IK's penalty area, and Lova Larsson converted it to make it 5-1.
Bollsta IK never gave up, and in the 91st minute, Saga Gradin scored another goal for the home team. However, it was too late to turn the match around, and Arnäs/Själevad 2 won 5-2. Arnäs/Själevad 2's performance was impressive, and they showed great cohesion as a team, while Bollsta IK still has some way to go.
