On a sunny Saturday afternoon, only 45 spectators gathered at SJB Arena to watch the Division 3 match between Eds FF and Bovall-Hunnebo. The referee for the match was Elin Forsberg.
It didn't take long for Bovall-Hunnebo to show which team had come to claim victory. Just eleven minutes into the match, we saw the first goal when Emelie Kullberg found the back of the net for the visitors. The home team tried to respond but struggled to break through Bovall-Hunnebo's defense.
After 45 minutes of play, Bovall-Hunnebo could celebrate again as Kullberg scored her second goal of the match, increasing the visitors' lead to 0-2. But the home team was not ready to give up so easily. Three minutes into the second half, we witnessed the first goal for Eds FF when Vendela Provci Ottosson reduced the deficit to 1-2.
Unfortunately for the home team, it wouldn't be enough for a point as Bovall-Hunnebo's Elin Groth Berndtsson scored to make it 1-3 in the 53rd minute. However, Eds FF kept fighting, and in the 55th minute, Provci Ottosson scored her second goal of the day, raising the excitement to 2-3.
After the second home goal, Eds FF pressed hard to find an equalizer, but the visitors held their ground and ultimately secured the victory with a score of 2-3. A strong performance by Bovall-Hunnebo, who took home three much-needed points from SJB Arena.
