Smedjebackens FK clearly demonstrated why they are leading the table when they faced Falu BS FK last night at Kopparvallen Artificial Turf in Division 3 Dalarna for women. Right from the kickoff, Smedjebacken controlled the game, and it didn't take long before Amanda Berg was able to put the first ball behind the rushing goalkeeper, making it 0-1 for the away team after 18 minutes. Falu BS FK tried to get properly into the match, but Smedjebacken had gained momentum and was able to pass the ball around and create openings.
Just four minutes later, it was Alma Fahgén who scored after taking the ball from an opponent and making a solo effort down the flank. Amanda Berg was not finished creating goals for the evening and was able to net another ball after 25 minutes. Falu BS FK did their best to stop Smedjebacken's offensive play, but they couldn't withstand it. Elsa Löfgren, Emelie Andersson, and Isabelle Bergh all contributed to pass the ball into the net, and just after 43 minutes, the score was 0-6 on the board.
After a halftime break, it seemed Smedjebacken had even more energy to continue their assaults on Falu BS FK's goal. Alma Fahgén scored her second goal of the evening after 53 minutes, and just four minutes later, it was Jonna Lövberg who found the back of the net. Smedjebacken played efficiently by keeping players moving and finding openings in Falu BS FK’s defense. It wasn't until the 84th minute that an impressive hat trick by Emelie Andersson could seal the deal. With just minutes left in the match, Emelie Andersson and her team managed to maintain the pressure, scoring two more goals, resulting in a shocking final score of 0-15 for the away team, Smedjebackens FK.
The referee, Abukar Mohamed, and his assistant referees Alvin Erikhans and Emil Andreassen had a relatively calm match and were able to focus on the game before them. Along with 42 spectators present, this was an unforgettable evening for Smedjebackens FK, while Falu BS FK will need to regroup and start working harder to improve their performance in upcoming matches.
