A sunny Hovåsvallen was the venue for an exciting match between Hovås Billdal IF and Eriksbergs IF in Division 3 Gothenburg for women. In front of a vacant stand, referee Cristian Badescu announced that the match would be decided in 90 minutes. The assistant referees were Abdi Hassan and Baraa Qasim.
After just 14 minutes, Eriksbergs IF took the lead through Amanda Johansson, who headed the ball into the net, giving the away team an early advantage. However, Hovås Billdal IF was not willing to give up easily and quickly responded thanks to a goal from Annie Skiöld Lundquist in the 17th minute.
It didn't take long for Eriksbergs IF to regain the lead, as Amanda Johansson struck again, scoring her second goal of the day in the 20th minute. Johansson wasn't finished there, as in the 36th minute she completed her hat trick, scoring her third goal and giving Eriksbergs IF another tally for the day.
Just before halftime, Eriksbergs IF managed to score two more goals, first through Johansson's fourth goal of the match, followed by a goal from Jessica Sabel in the 45th minute.
The second half began with Hovås Billdal IF trying to find a way back into the game, but their efforts only led to a beautiful goal from Frida Rosengren in the 45th minute, improving the score to 2-5.
Despite Hovås's attempts to climb back into the match, Eriksbergs IF still had control and managed to score their sixth and final goal of the match, once again through Felicia Svanström, who extended the lead further.
The match ended with a score of 2-6 in favor of the away team, Eriksbergs IF, who, thanks to Amanda Johansson's hat trick and complete dominance in the second half of the match, secured their first victory of the season.
