It was an exciting match between Gävle DFF and Kilafors IF at Brynäsvallen in Division 3 Hälsingland-Gästrikland for women. The match kicked off on Sunday afternoon in front of an audience of 30 people, with referee Omar Alaydi holding the whistle, assisted by Wilma Wallquist and Ahmad Taha.
The first half ended without any goals, as both teams fought hard to score the decisive goal. However, it was in the second half that things heated up. Kilafors IF received two yellow cards, one to Louise Törnberg and one to Natalie Granvik, which put pressure on the team.
In the 64th minute, Gävle DFF took the lead through Beatrice Persson, and three more goals followed quickly after. Felicia Meijer extended the lead to 2-0 in the 67th minute, and just a few minutes later, Emma Hällberg made it 3-0 for the home team.
Kilafors, however, did not give up and managed to reduce the score through Anna Wik in the 84th minute. Despite a strong push from the away team in the closing minutes, they could not come any closer, and the match ended 3-1 in favor of Gävle DFF.
It was a well-played match with a lot of fighting spirit from both teams, but it was Gävle DFF who came out on top and took home three points on their home turf.
