Offerdals IF had nothing to counter the league leaders Vemdalens IF when they met at home on Saturday afternoon. Already after five minutes, Vemdalens IF took the lead through Åsa Eriksson, who put the ball in the net behind the goalkeeper. Offerdals IF tried to fight their way back into the match, but Vemdalens IF were too strong and effective.
After 15 minutes, Vemdalens IF increased their lead to 2-0, with Åsa Eriksson scoring again. Offerdals IF made several substitutions and attempted to create chances going forward, but Vemdalens IF's defense was strong and their attackers effective. In the 70th minute, Fannie Millander scored Vemdalens IF's third goal, and it seemed like it was all over for the home team.
Offerdals IF did not give up and continued to fight, but against a dominant Vemdalens IF, the uphill battle was too steep. Åsa Eriksson scored her third goal of the match and Vemdalens IF's fourth in the 75th minute. Offerdals IF tried to push forward again, but Vemdalens IF held firm at the back. In the 86th minute, Linnéa Frisk scored the fifth goal for Vemdalens IF, which also became the final score.
Vemdalens IF could thus take home the victory and the league title while Offerdals IF finished in second to last place in the standings. Nonetheless, it was a nice end to the season and they can now look forward to the next season, where they hopefully can perform better and climb higher in the table.
