Alnö IF Ladies in Division 3 faced a tough match against Kovlands IF Ladies on Saturday morning at Baldershov IP. Although the field was empty and there was no crowd, the players were ready to give their all on the artificial turf.
Referee Isac Gunnarsson blew the whistle to start the match, and just two minutes in, Kovlands IF Ladies found the net with a beautiful strike from Petra Blückert. Alnö IF tried to get back into the game, but Kovlands’ defense stood strong and held firm.
In the 55th minute, Kovlands extended their lead through Nathalie Jonasson-Collett, who placed the ball into the goal with precision. Alnö IF fought to come back, but Kovlands continued to dominate the play.
In the 76th minute, Kovlands struck again, this time through Pernilla Wennman, who nodded the ball in after a well-placed corner. Despite Alnö IF’s attempts to reduce the deficit, Kovlands IF Ladies held tight in defense and secured a convincing 3-0 victory.
After the final whistle, Kovlands IF Ladies could celebrate a well-deserved win, while Alnö IF was forced to return to the training ground to refine their play ahead of upcoming matches in Division 3 Medelpad, Ladies.
