The match between Selånger SK Development and Matfors IF was an even and thrilling event at Selånger IP. Despite the nice weather, only 29 brave spectators made their way to the stadium to follow the match.
Referee Abdirahman Hassan and his assistant referees Jordan Blomqvist and Bijan Yari had full control of the match from the first to the last minute. However, despite their presence, it was not entirely a fair match, with several tough battles and hard tackles.
In the 66th minute, Matfors IF's Ida Pettersson Nygren received a warning from the referee after a tough tackle. Just three minutes later, Matfors IF was awarded a penalty, which Joanna Pilar Ahumada Fuenzalida converted perfectly by putting the ball in the net, giving her team a 1-0 lead.
In the 78th minute, Matfors IF extended their lead to 2-0 through Frida Björklund, who distinctly scored after a nice attack. Selånger SK Development, however, fought valiantly and managed to reduce the score in the 88th minute with a penalty by Linnea Söderberg, but it wasn't enough to catch up.
When the referee blew the final whistle, the score was 2-1 in favor of Matfors IF, who could head home with three points in tow. Selånger SK Development, on the other hand, left the field disappointed but with their heads held high after a strong effort.
