Sundsvalls DFF Development entered the match with their heads held high and confidence at its peak at Kubikenborgs IP artificial turf. It didn't take long for them to find success as Ida Vennström Kabagambe scored in the 13th minute, and Tyra Öhman doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Lovisa Aronsson and Elin Larsson then extended the lead to 4-0 before halftime.
The second half was not much better for Njurunda IK as Ida Vennström Kabagambe scored her second goal of the evening, and Elin Larsson also netted her second goal. Sundsvalls DFF Development dominated significantly, and it was clear that Njurunda IK struggled to find their rhythm in the match.
Emma Forssbeck scored a consolation goal for Njurunda IK in the 62nd minute, but it was a goal that did not save the game for the visitors. Instead, Elin Larsson completed her hat trick with her third goal of the evening, and Lovisa Aronsson received a yellow card. However, Njurunda IK didn't give up just yet as Emma Forssbeck added her second goal of the night in the 83rd minute, but it was too late for any chance to turn the match around.
The match ended 8-2 in favor of Sundsvalls DFF Development, an impressive victory with many goals thanks to their well-executed attacks and solid defense. Unfortunately, the attendance was zero, but anyone who missed the match can definitely look forward to an entertaining soccer game if Sundsvalls DFF Development plays again.
