On Monday evening, Matfors IF 1 faced IFK Timrå 2 in an exciting match at Thulevallen in Division 3 Medelpad, women's league. The crowd had gathered to see the home team, and they would not be disappointed.
Already after 14 minutes of play, Emma Andersson from Matfors broke through IFK Timrå’s defense and scored the opening goal. IFK Timrå’s Evilla Udd was booked only a minute later for a reckless tackle.
However, Matfors IF 1 was not satisfied with just a lead. After 34 minutes of play, Ida Pettersson Nygren doubled the lead with a beautiful shot that found the back of the net.
