There was a wonderful atmosphere at Stöde IP when Stöde IF and Kovlands IF Women's team faced off in Division 3 Medelpad Playoffs A for women. With 73 people in the stands and referee Albin Eriksson along with assistants Emma Mattsson and Max Pettersson, everything was set for an exciting match.
The match started with high intensity from both teams, but it was Kovlands IF Women who took the lead after 32 minutes of play. Moa Nordin struck and sent the ball into the net, giving Kovlands team a dream start in the match.
Stöde IF fought hard and tried to make a comeback, but Kovlands seemed to have better control of the game and was able to maintain their lead until the 69th minute. Then Tuva Lindberg struck and extended Kovlands' lead to 0-2.
Towards the end of the match, Stöde IF wanted to try to reduce the score and catch up to Kovlands, but it would prove to be in vain. With just one minute left in the match, Felicia Högkvist struck and put the ball in the net, further diminishing Stöde IF's chances of gaining points.
The match ended 0-3 to Kovlands IF Women, who could celebrate a well-deserved victory after a strong performance against a struggling Stöde IF. With goals from Moa Nordin, Tuva Lindberg, and Felicia Högkvist, Kovlands IF Women were the better team on the field today and took an important win in Division 3 Medelpad Playoffs A for women.
