IFK Mariestad managed to turn the match against Falköpings FK on the Odenplan B-plan in front of an audience of 400 people. The match started well for the home team when Jerry Westerberg made it 1-0 already in the third minute. But the joy was short-lived as Svante Möller equalized for the away team just three minutes later.

Elon Keymer then gave IFK Mariestad the lead in the 13th minute, which also became the last goal of the match. Falköpings FK tried to come back, but despite a lot of ball possession, they failed to score an equaliser.

In the 17th minute Johan Friman received a warning for Falköpings FK and later in the match Rawand Gargis Sadi also received a warning. The match was marked by several substitutions, where, among others, Sebastian Johansson and Glen Brian Andreassen replaced Jerry Westerberg and Oskar Hennings for Falköpings FK.

Despite a late comeback attempt and a caution to Sebastian Johansson in the 90th minute, Falköpings FK failed to turn the game around. IFK Mariestad took the three points and consolidated their fourth place in the table, while Falköpings FK remained in sixth place.
