Last Sunday, Partille IF FK and Kinna IF met at Lexby 1 Grass in a match that would prove to be a tough challenge for the home team. The referee Bartek Svaberg kicked off the match at 5:00 PM in front of an entirely empty stand.
After a relatively even first half, it was Kinna IF who took the lead early in the second half through Robert Holmberg in the 58th minute. Shortly thereafter, Johan Angren was cautioned for a tough tackle on an opposing player.
Seven minutes later, Kinna IF substituted Christoffer Litzell for Sebastian Hallin to strengthen the team for the remainder of the match.
Partille IF FK made two substitutions in the 72nd minute, but this did not have much impact on the match. In the 75th minute, Jonatan Björk extended Kinna IF's lead to 2-0, a deficit from which Partille IF FK never really recovered.
A significant part of this was likely due to Kinna IF being able to substitute Erik Arvidsson for Robert Holmberg shortly thereafter. Partille IF FK was also given a golden opportunity to reduce the score in the 79th minute when Johan Angren was sent off after receiving his second yellow card.
This gave Partille IF FK a man advantage, but they could never really find their rhythm in the game. Kinna IF substituted Anton Josefsson for Marcus Bjelkenberg in the 83rd minute, but the match ultimately ended 2-0 in favor of Kinna IF.
Kinna IF now sits comfortably in third place in the standings, while Partille IF FK continues to fight to climb above the relegation line.
