Gunnilse IS took an early lead in the match through a goal by Chamseddine Jebali in the 11th minute. Ajdin Zeljkovic then extended the lead in the 16th minute and Idris Abdi scored in the 43rd minute to give Gunnilse a 3-0 lead before half-time. Lerums IS received a warning in the 33rd minute and Gunnilse received a warning in the 44th minute.

In the second half the intensity continued and David Prochazka from Gunnilse received a caution in the 57th minute. Gunnilse made two changes in the 61st minute and Christoffer Larnelius Bäck received a warning in the 68th minute. Nikola Jevric from Gunnilse was sent off in the 70th minute and Lerum's IS received a penalty, which Tobias Hansson scored.

Gunnilse made a substitution in the 72nd minute and Lerums IS managed to score another goal through Henrik Forsberg in the 83rd minute. Lerum's IS reduced to 3-2 and pressed Gunnilse hard at the end of the match. Lerum's IS received a warning in the 94th minute but Gunnilse managed to hold off and win the match 3-2.
