The match between Ulricehamns IFK and IFK Mariestad at the Lassalyckan A-plan artificial turf turned out to be an exciting event with lots of goals and drama. The crowd pressure was high with 183 spectators in the stands, and referee Fikret Buqa was in charge of the whistle.
Just two minutes into the match, Ulricehamns IFK took the lead through Kristoffer Johansson, who then doubled the lead to 2-0 after nine minutes with his second goal of the match. IFK Mariestad received a warning when Melker Landenmark was cautioned in the 45th minute. In the 57th minute, Ulricehamns IFK increased their lead further through Christopher Brorsson.
However, IFK Mariestad did not give up and reduced the deficit through Morgan Landenmark in the 64th minute. With that goal, they created hope for a possible comeback. In the 85th minute, they also managed to reduce it to 3-2 through John Feltsten, which kept the tension alive until the final minutes.
IFK Mariestad made several substitutions in the second half to try and turn the match around, while Ulricehamns IFK also implemented a few changes to try to maintain their lead. Despite a strong finish from IFK Mariestad, Ulricehamns IFK managed to hold off and secure three important points in Division 3 Mellersta Götaland.
