Friday evening at Ardala IP A featured an exciting match between Ardala GoIF and Ahlafors IF. The home team, Ardala, was at the bottom of the table and had a lot to prove against the league leaders, Ahlafors.
But just two minutes in, the stands erupted with joy as Ardala took the lead through Johan Ståhl. Ardala tried to keep up the pressure, but Ahlafors showed their strength and equalized through Robin Eriksson after 22 minutes.
Ardala continued to fight but picked up several yellow cards and found it difficult against an Ahlafors team that found their rhythm. Jesper Zetterlund then made it 2-1 for Ahlafors just before halftime.
The second half turned into a tough battle as Ardala struggled to catch up. Edvin Berntsson reduced the deficit to 2-3 with a penalty in the 68th minute, but despite substitutions and hard work from Ardala, the team was unable to equalize.
Robin Eriksson completed his hat trick and drove the final nail in the coffin for Ardala with his 4-2 goal in stoppage time. Ahlafors thus won the difficult away match and maintained their position as league leaders, while Ardala again left the pitch without any points. The audience of 150 people was treated to an entertaining match filled with a lot of effort and excitement.
