Öckerö IF hosted Kortedala IF on Prästängen 1 Artificial Turf in front of an empty grandstand on Saturday afternoon. Referee Bartek Svaberg started the match, and it didn't take long for the home team to take the lead. In the 14th minute, Hugo Ringeby found the net and gave Öckerö IF a 1-0 lead.
Just a few minutes later, Alexander Simonsson doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 25th minute. The home team continued to dominate the match and created several dangerous chances going forward. In the 36th minute, Öckerö made their first substitution when Truls Lindqvist Andell replaced Victor Niklasson.
At halftime, Öckerö made another substitution when Fredrik Hansson came on for Anton Dahlgren. Kortedala IF attempted to get back into the match by making a substitution at halftime, with Gabriel Garis coming on for Najiib Abdi Qadir Dhoore.
In the second half, Öckerö continued to dominate, and in the 64th minute, Ludvig Wiklander made it 3-0 for the home team. Shortly afterwards, Kortedala made a substitution where Idiris Mohamed replaced Oskar Ali. Öckerö then increased their lead to 4-0 through an own goal from Kortedala.
Truls Lindqvist Andell then scored a penalty in the 84th minute, sealing the final score at 5-0 in favor of Öckerö IF. Öckerö made a final substitution where Linus Solbräcke came on for Ludvig Wiklander, while Firat Ergin replaced Wilmer Simonsson.
With a commanding victory for Öckerö IF, it was an excellent opportunity for the team to secure three important points in Division 3 Mellersta Götaland. Kortedala IF will need to take lessons from the match and aim to bounce back strongly in the upcoming matches.
