IK Zenith secured their first victory of the season with an impressive performance resulting in a 4-2 win over Bergdalens IK at Hovgårdsvallen 2 Artificial Turf. Isaac Jonsson scored two goals, while Isaac Shears and Philip Oldin each contributed with one goal in a match where the home team was in total control from start to finish.

The match began in a fast and intense manner as Isaac Jonsson netted the first goal for IK Zenith just two minutes into the game. After that, IK Zenith continued to dominate play, with Isaac Shears extending their lead to 2-0 after 20 minutes.

Bergdalens IK tried to find their footing, but they struggled to break through IK Zenith's defense. Instead, it was Isaac Shears again who scored, this time from a penalty, increasing the lead to 3-0 in the middle of the first half.

Bergdalens IK made substitutions, bringing in Wahid Jawid and Naser Amin-Zada at halftime, which seemed to provide a new energy to their game. Rasmus Sjöhage scored their first goal, reducing IK Zenith's lead to 3-1 in the 59th minute, followed by Max Glans who scored their second goal just a few minutes later.

However, despite reducing the score to 3-2, Bergdalens IK could not maintain the pressure, and IK Zenith were able to score another goal through Philip Oldin in the 70th minute. The final score was 4-2 in favor of IK Zenith.

Both Joakim Olsson, the coach of IK Zenith, and the coach of Bergdalens IK were satisfied with their teams' performances after the match. Olsson stated that it was a very important victory for IK Zenith, providing the team with confidence for the rest of the season. The Bergdalens IK coach was somewhat frustrated but was impressed by IK Zenith's display and the fantastic audience that came to watch the match.
