It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Hovgårdsvallen 2 when IK Zenith hosted Assyriska IK in Division 3 Mellersta Götaland. In front of a crowd of 80 people, led by referee Roni Mezo and his assistants Peshang Salih and Labinot Aziraj, it was Zenith that would come to dominate the match.

Already in the 50th minute, Zenith took the lead through Isaac Shears, and just a few minutes later they extended their lead to 2-0 through Isaac Jonsson. Marcus Larsson then made it 3-0 before Shears once again found the net from the penalty spot, giving his team a 4-0 lead.

Jonsson then scored his second goal of the day before Shears completed his hat trick and sealed the final result at 6-0 in favor of Zenith. The match was marked by several substitutions and warnings, with several players from both Zenith and Assyriska IK ending up in the referee's book.

After a convincing victory, it is clear that IK Zenith demonstrated why they belong higher up in the table, while Assyriska IK will have to go home and reflect on what went wrong.
