It was a sunny but somewhat dull Monday at Rosenlunds IP 3 in Jönköping when the Division 3 match between IK Tord and Assyriska IK was to be decided. Unfortunately, there was no audience in the stands, but the game still offered delightful football.

Referee Abdelmasih Gergess blew the whistle to start the match at 17:00, and already after 19 minutes of play, Sebastian Lindell scored the opening goal for IK Tord. The crowd cheered, but as mentioned earlier, there was no one present.

Assyriska IK substituted Faik Mahmic after 22 minutes, but despite this, IK Tord found another goalscorer in Anmar Kiwarkis, who found the back of the net after half an hour of play. Just before the halftime whistle, Linus Lyck made it 3-0 for IK Tord. Assyriska IK also received a warning before the break.

At halftime, Assyriska IK substituted Theo Iwarez Andersson for Thomas Shlimon, but it didn’t help much. Immediately following the break, Alex Petrovic scored with a header, making it IK Tord's fourth goal. Anmar Kiwarkis then scored his second goal of the match, and IK Tord now led 5-0 after just 49 minutes of play.

IK Tord's Emil Holmgren received a warning after 52 minutes, and shortly thereafter, IK Tord made three substitutions at once. Assyriska IK's Mustafa Ismael also received a warning after one hour of play. Assyriska IK then made three more substitutions all at once in the 61st minute, but it didn’t make much difference.

IK Tord also made two substitutions, and just after that, William Neth scored IK Tord's sixth goal after 86 minutes of play. The match ended 6-0 in favor of IK Tord, and it was a well-played game by the home team. Despite the lack of spectators, many likely followed the match on TV or through social media.
