IK Tord continues to dominate in Division 3 Mellersta Götaland with an impressive away victory against Bergdalens IK. The match started at Björkängsvallen in Borås on Sunday afternoon in front of a crowd of 64, who expected an exciting game. Stefan Cosic was the referee, with Sirwan Rakh and Besnik Bajrami as assistant referees.

The match began cautiously, but after 17 minutes, the first goal came. It was Albin Lagerberg who scored for IK Tord, giving the team an early lead of 0-1. Just 15 minutes later, Lagerberg struck again, this time with a nice header, increasing IK Tord's lead to 0-2. Bergdalens IK tried to get back into the game but struggled to create any dangerous scoring opportunities.

In the 37th minute, Aleksandar Ceganjac of Bergdalens IK received a yellow card for breaking the rules of the match. In the 38th minute, Linus Lyck of IK Tord received a yellow card for the same reason.

At halftime, Bergdalens IK made a substitution, bringing in Andreas Fröberg for Antonios Giaurakis Johansson. Immediately after the break, Bergdalens IK started to apply pressure, but instead of scoring, there were more yellow cards. Fabrice Blewordah of Bergdalens IK was first cautioned in the 49th minute and was then sent off just seconds later. Almir Avdic, the coach of Bergdalens IK, also received a yellow card for his anger over the sending-off.

Following the dramatic red card, Bergdalens IK seized the opportunity, and Alen Krasnici scored in the 53rd minute, reducing the score to 1-2. IK Tord responded by making a substitution, with Emil Johnsson coming on for Albin Lagerberg in the 59th minute. But just three minutes later, Nils Nygren of IK Tord was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.

IK Tord continued to substitute players, and in the 64th minute, Marcus Brolin entered the field, replacing Alexander Dimitrijevic. Bergdalens IK could not apply any real pressure on IK Tord and failed to exploit their numerical advantage on the field.

In the 72nd minute, Alex Lundh of Bergdalens IK received a yellow card, and just two minutes later, IK Tord made three substitutions at once. Erik Watson was substituted for Tobias Hjalmarsson, Linus Lyck was replaced by Kalle Ekman, and August Sander was substituted for Lawan Homi.

Towards the end of the match, Bergdalens IK brought in Pedro Tapia for Hampus Bergendahl Ärlig in the 77th minute, and two substitutions were made in the 85th minute. Cristoffer Johansson replaced Aleksandar Ceganjac, and Lucas Tibell Bengtsson came on for Alex Lundh.

IK Tord finished the match strongly with another yellow card for Anmar Kiwarkis in the 88th minute and one for Kalle Ekman in stoppage time. In the 84th minute, Kalle Ekman also scored the third goal for IK Tord, sealing the match.

The match ended Bergdalens IK 1 – 3 IK Tord. This was a well-played match, but IK Tord showed that they were the better team. They managed to score two early goals and then played a controlled game, despite having a player sent off. Bergdalens IK will need to regroup for their next match and look forward to new opportunities.
