Assyriska BK took a much-needed victory when they faced Skene IF at Ruddalen 1 Artificial Turf. The match started with a high tempo and an intense level of play. Although they had several chances to score, Assyriska BK could not capitalize on their opportunities until the 14th minute when Momodou Lamin Marong seized the chance and scored a fantastic goal for Assyriska BK, giving the home team a 1-0 lead.

Skene IF tried to equalize but were not dangerous enough, which allowed Assyriska BK to extend their lead at the beginning of the second half, scoring two goals within six minutes. First, it was Momodou Lamin Marong again who made it 2-0 in the 48th minute after a nice pass from Gabriel Garis. Then, Gabriel Garis himself increased Assyriska BK’s lead to 3-0 in the 54th minute with a beautiful strike.

Skene IF attempted to get back into the match and made two substitutions in the 64th and 68th minutes, but Assyriska BK continued to dominate. In the 71st minute, Nihad Cengic made it 4-0 after a great assist from Aram Margosyan.

Assyriska BK made five substitutions after their fourth goal, and Skene IF managed to take advantage of the home team’s rotation by scoring a consolation goal in the second minute of injury time. Rinor Dobraj pulled one back for Skene IF with his goal, reducing the score to 4-1.

Despite Skene IF's late goal, it was Assyriska BK’s day, and they continue their season in Division 3 Mellersta Götaland with an important victory under their belt.
