It was a sunny Saturday afternoon when IFK Timrå hosted IFK Umeå at Ljustorp IP in front of an audience of 74 people. Referee Rawa Gharib officiated the match, assisted by linesmen Arian Chalak and Roger Pettersson.
The match started evenly, with both teams creating chances, but it was IFK Umeå who took the lead in the 33rd minute when Henrik Granered scored to make it 0-1. Shortly thereafter, Fredrik Wennebro received a yellow card for the visiting team.
