On Saturday afternoon, a very straightforward soccer match was played at Gammliavallen between Tegs SK and IFK Östersund. The teams faced off in Division 3 of Central Norrland, and it turned out that Tegs was clearly the better team on this day.
The match started energetically, and after just eight minutes, Tegs took the lead with the first goal of the match by Johan Örnfjäll. The team continued to dominate the game and created several dangerous chances.
In the 17th minute, however, Jens Sjöström received a yellow card, which was the first of only two in the match. Tegs continued to play well, and in the 35th minute, Oskar Gunnarsson scored the team’s second goal.
In the second half, Tegs kept pressing, and just four minutes in, Johan Bergström scored the team's third goal. Then it was time for Johan Örnfjäll to net his second goal of the match, making it 4-0 for Tegs.
IFK Östersund tried to create dangerous situations, but Tegs' defense was too strong, and there wasn’t much they could do. In the 73rd minute, Mikael Rönnbäck scored the team’s fifth goal before Mattias Decker of IFK Östersund managed to score a consolation goal in the 78th minute.
But Tegs wasn’t done yet, and Martin Drugge Eriksson scored the team’s sixth and final goal in the 83rd minute. The match ended 6-1 in favor of Tegs, who were clearly the better team on this day. Overall, it was quite an easy victory for the home team in front of just 50 spectators.
