Alsens IF took a convincing victory at home at Jämtkraft Arena on Friday evening when they defeated Sund IF 4-1 in front of a crowd of 58 people. The match was intense from the start, and just two minutes in, the home team took the lead through Alex Mårtensson, who, after a fine pass from Andreas Englund, hit the ball into the net. Only three minutes later, Alsens doubled their lead through Englund himself, who capitalized on a nice attack to score. Sund IF then substituted in Ali Kanso Mahmoud after 17 minutes in hopes of turning the match around, but Alsens dominated, and Mårtensson received a yellow card after 27 minutes. John-Henrik Eriksson then extended the lead for the home team with a beautiful goal after 42 minutes, and Sund IF went into halftime facing a significant uphill battle.

In the second half, Sund IF made a substitution, bringing in Kevin Berg for Marcus Pettersson. Alsens then substituted Filip Englund for Mikael Strandberg after 57 minutes. Eriksson continued to trouble Sund’s defense and scored his second goal of the evening to make it 4-0 after an hour of play. Sund IF's Henric Nylund received a yellow card after 65 minutes. They made two simultaneous substitutions in the 67th minute, with Haris Hadzic and Dennis Bergström replacing Natnael Teklab and Henric Nylund. Alsens continued to pass the ball around and substituted in Marcus Nilsson and Johan Bergquist for Love Öien and Alex Mårtensson after 75 minutes. After Sund IF’s Per Nyman received a yellow card in the 77th minute, Alsens substituted Sebastian Rolandsson for Eriksson with seven minutes left in the match. In the final moments, Sund IF managed to reduce the score to 4-1 with a penalty goal scored by Dennis Marzouki in the second minute of stoppage time. The match thus ended with a well-deserved victory for Alsens IF, who impressed greatly with both their offense and defense.
