The sun shone over Ånge IP as Östavalls IF faced Sund IF in a Division 3 Mellersta Norrland match on Saturday afternoon. The entertainment for the spectators was minimal, with only 54 people in the stands, but that would soon change. Referee Robin Albertsson kicked off the match, and the play quickly began to develop.

Eight minutes after the match started, Östavalls IF's Elias Wennerberg could no longer continue and was substituted for Mattias Decker. The play continued without any major chances from either team until Sund IF earned a corner. After 51 minutes of play, the visitors finally got the ball into the net with a well-placed header from Haris Hadzic following a nice assist. That was the first goal of the match, and Sund IF took the lead 1-0.

After the goal, the dynamic of the game changed. The home team began to chase an equalizer, and ten minutes later, Haik Danielian was replaced by Joakim Andersson for Östavalls IF. Sund IF also substituted Ali Kanso Mahmoud for Temesgen Habte Eyes to strengthen their defense and maintain the lead.

It wasn't until the 80th minute that Östavalls IF managed to equalize through Sani Tahir Tahir. After a closely contested match full of struggle, it was finally over, and the players of Östavalls IF celebrated with their fans. It was a fantastically exciting match to watch despite the low turnout of spectators.
