On a sunny and windy Saturday afternoon, Alnö IF faced Östavalls IF at Alnö's home arena. Despite the beautiful weather, the attendance was quite modest, with only 42 people showing up for the match.
After a rather cautious start, Alnö managed to get into the game better, which became evident when Vilde Hernbrand Ståhl scored with a well-placed shot in the 18th minute to make it 1-0. Östavalls then tried to equalize but struggled to penetrate Alnö's defense.
In the second half, Alnö appeared to have control of the match but still opted to make a few substitutions to secure their lead. Khalil Masri and Isak Sandin Lundgren replaced Vilde Hernbrand Ståhl and Jesper Andersson in the 65th minute. On the bench, coach Edvin Blom found it hard to stay still and likely realized that the match was not yet decided. He therefore chose to bring himself on in the 70th minute.
Östavalls desperately attempted to level the score but failed to create enough dangerous scoring opportunities. Instead, Alnö had several chances to extend their lead but unfortunately missed all of them. Khalil Masri, who came on as a substitute in the 65th minute, also received a yellow card in the 71st minute.
Östavalls made several substitutions during the match while Alnö opted to keep their starting lineup until the last two substitutions where Edvin Blom and Ali Kamal replaced Alfred Karlsson and Haris Hadzic. Jonathan Marklund also received a yellow card in the 90th minute, while Jordan Binns of Östavalls received one in the second minute of injury time.
When the referee blew the final whistle, Alnö emerged victorious with a narrow 1-0 win. It was a match characterized by hard work and good defense from both teams, but in the end, it was Alnö who managed to score the decisive goal.
