This Friday evening at Borens IP A, Borens IK and IK Östria Lambohov met in an intense match in division 3 Nordöstra Götaland. Borens IK was in 3rd place in the table and IK Östria Lambohov in 6th place.
The match started with high intensity and already after 20 minutes of play, Borens IK scored the first goal through Johan Björklund. Just one minute later, Björklund increased the lead to 2-0. But IK Östria Lambohov would not give up so easily. After 33 minutes, Josef Haddad reduced the score to 2-1 and just a few seconds later Knutur Gudjonsson made it 2-2.
During the match, a number of warnings were also handed out. Both Johan Björklund and Victor Tillgren from Borens IK and Fredrik Gunnar Rydwik and Michael Sommer from IK Östria Lambohov received warnings.
In the 71st minute it became even more dramatic when Michael Sommer from IK Östria Lambohov received his second warning and was thus sent off. IK Östria Lambohov also replaced Knutur Gudjonsson with Patrik Bjurling in the 76th minute.
Borens IK made two changes in the 78th minute when Henrik Svensson replaced Viktor Forssell and Dino Muhic received warning number two. With only a few minutes left in the match, Josef Haddad scored his second goal and thus put IK Östria Lambohov in the lead 2-3. But in the very last minute of the match, Dino Muhic got revenge and scored 3-3 for Borens IK.
The match thus ended in a draw, 3-3, but Borens IK had to play the last minutes without Dino Muhic, who was sent off after receiving his second warning. In total, there were 50 people on site who got to see a match with a lot of drama and many goals. The referee for the match was Paul Shamoun and the assistant referees were Peter Adolfsson and Kenneth Bjurström.
