Myresjö IF turned a deficit into a victory in Sunday's home match against Borens IK. After a first half marked by equal play and some hard tackles from the away team, Dino Muhic gave the visitors the lead in the 37th minute. However, home coach Jonas Johansson made a tactical substitution at halftime that would prove decisive. Substitute William Bengtsson added speed and energy to Myresjö's play, and it didn’t take long before the team equalized with a beautiful header from Mikael Gustafsson in the 50th minute.

Just five minutes later, Kujtim Berisha scored from a free kick into the top corner, and Myresjö had taken the lead. Borens desperately tried to find an equalizer, but the home team's defense held firm until the final whistle. Mikael Gustafsson, who had a strong match in midfield, received a late yellow card and was substituted with five minutes left. Eliot Prvulovic came on and helped Myresjö control the game and secure the win.

The victory brings Myresjö IF to the top of Division 3 Nordöstra Götaland with 31 points, while Borens IK remains in seventh place with 16 points. The match attracted 173 spectators at Myrvalla 1, and referee Julian Poulsen Sosefo was well assisted by linesmen Patrik Junhem and Gheorghe Piscoran.
