Ulricehamns IFK managed to turn the match around against Nässjö FF on the artificial grass pitch at Lassalyckan in front of a crowd of 1,200 in Division 3 Nordöstra Götaland, despite a tough first half. The visitors stunned the crowd just three minutes into the match when number 14, Fredrik Elovsson, scored, and they extended their lead through Andreas Jonasson after another quarter of an hour.
However, the home team did not let this discourage them, and Niklas Ternling created excitement in the match by reducing the score to 2-1 five minutes before halftime. Shortly after, Bekim Haxha equalized for Ulricehamn, causing a shock in the Nässjö camp.
In the second half, Nässjö FF started strong, and Ibrahim Habib regained their lead just two minutes after kickoff, trying to hold on. But Tobias Söderman found the net for Ulricehamn, equalizing once again.
After that, it was an exciting match with both teams evenly matched, and it remained tense until Niklas Ternling of Ulricehamn could seal the victory with his second goal of the evening, giving Ulricehamns IFK a much-needed win. Despite a late consolation goal from Nässjö FF, it was Ulricehamns IFK who celebrated at the final whistle. Nässjö FF remains second to last in the table, while Ulricehamns IFK climbs up to eighth place.
