On Saturday morning, IF Haga and IFK Tidaholm met in Division 3 Nordöstra Götaland for men at Zinkensdamm in Huskvarna. The match ended in a goal-rich and exciting encounter, with IFK Tidaholm ultimately coming out on top, winning 6-5.
The match started with an early goal from IFK Tidaholm, scored by Dennis Bergström in the fifth minute. IFK Tidaholm did not give up and managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Jonathan Thurén in the 57th minute. It wasn't until the 65th minute that more goals came. That was when Linus Johansson scored to equalize for IFK Tidaholm. But just a few minutes later, a own goal from IF Haga put them behind 4-3.
IF Haga then received two yellow cards, one to Jacob Thorén and one to Viktor Niklasson, while Rasmus Karlsson received a yellow card for IFK Tidaholm. Adam Svensson was substituted in for IF Haga in the 75th minute, but it was IFK Tidaholm that would score the next goal, this time by Dennis Bergström on a free kick.
However, IF Haga did not give up, and Fredrik Ulff struck with a goal in the 77th minute, but Max Falk from IFK Tidaholm quickly responded and increased the lead to 6-4 just a minute later.
Jacob Thorén from IF Haga then scored his second goal of the day in the 88th minute, reducing the score to 6-5. Simon Johansson received a yellow card for IFK Tidaholm, and in the 90th minute, Tobias Larsson was substituted in for IFK Tidaholm.
Despite an intense search for additional goals from IF Haga, the team failed to equalize, and the match ended in a victory for IFK Tidaholm, 6-5, after a truly entertaining game. Referee Alban Mustafa maintained a good control of the match and was assisted by Mattias Gran and Araz Nabil Mustafa. However, the audience had to settle for following the match from home as it was played in front of a completely empty arena.
