IFK Tidaholm took on AFK Linköping at Tidavallen E-plan in front of an audience of 100 in a heated match in Division 3 Northeastern Götaland. Referee Adnan Busuladzic was in charge with the assistance of Samir Suhonjic and Jörgen Hjelm as assistant referees.
Just six minutes into the game, AFK Linköping took the lead through Johan Birgersson, but IFK Tidaholm quickly equalized with Linus Johansson in the twelfth minute. Johansson had an outstanding day and scored his second goal just two minutes later to give Tidaholm a 2-1 lead. Linus Johansson completed his hat trick in the 32nd minute, and IFK Tidaholm went into halftime with a comfortable 3-1 lead.
In the second half, IFK Tidaholm continued to dominate, and Max Falk increased the score to 4-1 in the 85th minute, followed by another goal from Johansson, who completed his four-goal performance. Despite two late consolation goals from AFK Linköping by Josef Haddad in the 88th and 91st minutes, the guests were unable to catch up, and the match ended 5-3 to IFK Tidaholm.
It was a well-played match where Linus Johansson was the standout with his four goals, leading his team to an important home victory. IFK Tidaholm displayed impressive form, while AFK Linköping went home with disappointment and much to think about ahead of their next match.
