The match started at UCS Arena in front of an audience of 50 people. Referee Mattias Hedman Lilja blew the whistle to kick off the match between Hjulsbro IK and Boxholms IF.

It didn't take long for Hjulsbro IK to take the lead with an own goal in the 14th minute. Boxholms IF tried to respond, but it was Hjulsbro IK that extended their lead in the 28th minute through Rickard Bjärnlid.

Shortly before halftime, Rickard Bjärnlid received a yellow card for Hjulsbro IK, and just after the break, both Henrik Klang and Henrik Andersson also received yellow cards.
